Tip of the Day

Always remember: never, never, never allow your head strong, stubborn two year old to ride in the car without being buckled. If you make a similar mistake, even though it be for merely 30 seconds, you will have to listen to her scream every time you buckle her in the car, for MONTHS! Today Zan nearly strangled herself by twisting and turning in her buckle until she was backwards! I had to pull over, turn her around and tighten the straps. Heed my warning or every time you go somewhere, you will have to sneak out of the house, eluding your two year old or kiss your sanity goodbye.

More Robinsons

Here is another one of Sam's favorite quotes: My clothes are not on backwards, my head is!

Valentines Day

I know this will come as a shock to some of you who think we never do anything fun. Well, for Valentines Day, we went to a concert featuring Heart and opening with Emerson Drive. No, we did not pay money because we were invited by some friends and had VIP seating in the front. It was the kick off event for the Arabian Horse Show in Scottsdale at Westworld. We really enjoyed Emerson Drive, they are good looking and can really play the fiddle! Heart was a little loud and it was getting late (for us) so we came home. The pictures are not great because we didn't think to bring our camera and had to resort to Dan's phone. It was fun, we might do that again sometime.

New Puppy Buckley

Sam and Zan love playing with Booker!

No, not OUR new puppy. Clark and Margaret and Booker stopped by with THEIR new puppy. His name is Buckley and my girls just loved him! He is such a cute little guy, I'm sure Booker and Buckley will be the best of friends.

Puppies

Our neighbor's dog had puppies and our girls just can't get enough. They are pretty cute. Sam likes to talk to them like they are her babies.

Meet the Robinsons

It took me several times before I could make out what Samantha was saying. I guess Meet the Robinsons has been in the DVD player in the van for too long!

Translation: I am so dead. I'm not even allowed to look at this thing let alone drive it. Mom and Dad are going to kill me! And I can tell you this--it will not be done with mercy.

New aprons

Andria and Samantha got cooking kits from Grandma Proffitt this year for Christmas but the apron in the kit was plastic and fell apart. So Sam helped choose some fabric and we made some new aprons that will last. They look so cute!

Sam's curly too

Samantha's hair was so easy to curl because it only took 5 curlers.

Chandler the Singer

We wanted to post something about one or two of our kids each week. Here is Chandler in the Mt. View Men's Choir. He's actually pretty good (way better than he should be considering his mom and dad). It was in December, so it's a little dated (especially for today's society). The choir he's trying out for for next year will be touring Austria. We hope he makes it.
